Get On Up - Custer's Last Band

Briefly known as The Chateaus before changing their name to Custer's Last Band, this Lancaster, PA group was primarily a soul band. This cover of The Esquires' classic dance tune, "Get On Up", is a perfect example of the material CLB played in their early days, before evolving to more progressive rock, such as Chicago Transit Authority, Three Dog Night, Santana, Joe Cocker, etc. The soaring falsettos of the 3 CLB singers still resonated with full force, 25 years later at their reunion show at the Host Resort in Lancaster, PA (USA) - March 18, 1995. Custer's Last Band includes: Tom Young - Vocals & Percussion Dick Reincke - Vocals & Percussion Don Hodgen - Vocals & Percussion Thom "Daddy C" Colson - Keyboards & Vocals Tim Miller - Drums Parke Shissler - Bass Steve "Zero" Wettig - Guitar Steve Weaver - Trumpet & Flute Leon Hillard - Trumpet & Trombone Phil Maxey - Saxophone & Very Loud Claves
